The setting is striking, with abundant wildlife including visits from coatis and agoutis right by the outdoor bathroom. The outdoor shower experience, while open, feels adventurous and refreshing, providing a unique connection to the surrounding jungle.
Communication regarding set meal times and activities could be significantly improved. we only discovered meal hours and night walks shortly before they occurred, limiting flexibility. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning and reliance on fans and screens instead of solid windows might not meet everyone's comfort preferences, specifically during hotter days.

The beautiful setting overlooks the ocean and is teeming with vibrant wildlife, offering breathtaking views from the bungalow's porch. Locally sourced meals included delicious jams that highlighted the area’s flavors. However, the lack of smooth communication regarding meal times made it hard to plan our days, and the outdoor bathroom setup provided little privacy. Access to the beach required a bit of a trek, which might not suit everyone.

tiskita jungle lodge is surrounded by stunning scenery, right next to the beach at the base of the jungle. we encountered amazing wildlife during our stay, and the guided walk with rosa was unforgettable. her knowledge made our jungle experience so much richer and more enjoyable.
it would have been better if we had been informed about the meal times and activities at check-in.

Stunning location, vibrant wildlife, with easy beach access. The outdoor swimming pool provided a relaxing oasis after exploring the lush jungle trails, and the fresh fruit at breakfast truly made mornings delightful.

A Slice of Jungle Paradise
My stay was truly magical, with a cozy bungalow offering breathtaking views of the ocean. I loved sipping fresh juice while watching vibrant macaws and playful monkeys from my porch. The staff, especially Rosio, were incredibly warm and went out of their way to make my experience enjoyable. The delicious, locally sourced food showcased the area’s rich flavors, and the many well-marked jungle trails were perfect for exploration. I would have preferred more privacy in the outdoor bathroom setup, but it was a small price to pay for such a unique experience.
